Whiplassh are a female-fronted post hardcore band from Brisbane, mixing cathartic hooks, hard-hitting guitars and real emotion into a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

• Female-fronted post hardcore from Brisbane
• New single VERRUCKT out now
• EP on the way
• Playing The Big Weekend and Good Things 2026

They wear their influences proudly, drawing on the DIY hardcore and post hardcore scenes of the 2000s. Think Paramore, Her Words Kill, Underoath, Saosin and SeeYouSpaceCowboy.

Their songs pair vulnerability with aggression: honest lyrics over dynamic, heavy instrumentals built to hit just as hard live as on record. Part of a new wave of Australian post hardcore.
